giant CIS
Our solution to get you paid faster, compliantly and on time whilst you work within the construction industry.
what is the Construction Industry Scheme?
The Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) is a tax deduction scheme where tax is taken at source for work related to construction.
As a self-employed person, you make a yearly tax payment to HMRC via self-assessment. When working within the Construction Industry Scheme you may have tax deducted from the payments you receive. These deductions are credited by HMRC onto your personal account as credits for future tax you owe. The amount of tax deducted is determined by the level of CIS tax verification you have at the time the work is carried out. You may qualify for no deductions if you have gross payment status.
With giant sitting in the contract chain between you and your agency / hirer, you can have peace of mind that the correct amount of tax deductions are made. This means that when it comes to completing your self – assessment there are no surprise tax bills!
With giant CIS, not only do we offer a highly competitive margin, but we aim to get you paid faster than any of our competitors. Click here to contact a member of our team.
